Payment
Business Services (PBS), a Danish company which
specialises in payment systems, has launched
on its national market Net-ID, a digital payment
service which will enable Danish banks to offer
their online banking customers the possibility
to send via the Internet documents that are
legally necessary to finalise their operations
(loan agreements or insurance contracts, purchases
of banking products for example).
In terms of security, Net-ID uses the same technology
as that of online banking services, and which
was developed jointly by PBS and the Danish
banking sector. Net-ID will be proposed to some
2.2 million users of online banking services.
PBS has also signed an agreement with ATP, a
Danish insurer and pension fund management company.
