The
Spanish savings bank, La Caixa, has just launched
LKXA, a new programme aimed at young people
aged between 18 and 25. The "LKXA"
brand is a translation of "La Caixa"
in the abbreviated language used by young people
in their SMS messages.
LKXA is banking
on the enthusiasm of this customer segment for
new technologies and, alongside traditional
distribution channels (branches and ATM machines),
is favouring online channels: mobile telephones
and their various applications (SMS, WAP), e-mail,
the Internet, telephone banking and interactive
television, a dedicated web site:
www.lkxa.com
LKXA comprises a
wide range of banking products and services,
specially adapted to appeal to young people:
current account and savings account, cards,
loans, insurance ... accompanied by specific
offerings: very advantageous financing terms
for students wanting to purchase a laptop, special
ADSL subscription offers, various discounts
and a lottery to win language study abroad grants.
