The Canadian bank Scotiabank is providing its online customers with access to an electronic invoicing service.

This service, called "epost", which has been developed by EPO, a branch of the Canadian national Post Office, enables customers to send and receive mail, documents, account statements, as well to pay 200 types of invoices from a hundred or so Canadian companies. To have free access to "epost", all Scotiabank customers have to do is register on the bank's web site.

In Canada, Scotiabank has 1.4 million online customers who executed 152 million online transactions in 2004, i.e. 42 % more than in 2003.
