Asociácia správcovských spoločností (ASS) bola založená dňa 23. februára 1998 na ustanovujúcom zhromaždení členov a 16.4.1998 bola zaregistrovaná na Krajskom úrade Bratislava.

Association of Asset Management Companies (AAMC) was established in 1998 on the foundation conference of AAMC by 6 investment companies, which understood the collective investment as portfolio investment and considered the unit trusts as its principal instrument.
